  1. Avoid noun stacks
  2. Don’t omit relative pronouns
  3. Choose terms carefully
  4. Structure sentences simply
  5. Avoid ambiguity

They say that by following these principles “will lead to PLS that are easier to process for not just non-native speakers but also native English speakers”.
