Prostate-specific antigen levels and quality of life in advanced prostate cancer patients treated with apalutamide: a plain language summary of the SPARTAN and TITAN trials
This Plain Language Summary of publication article (PLSP) from Future Oncology highlights findings from the SPARTAN and TITAN studies, which examined the effectiveness of apalutamide in treating advanced prostate cancer. Both studies compared apalutamide plus androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) to a placebo plus ADT. Results showed that apalutamide improved survival without worsening quality of life.
