This Plain Language Summary of Publication article (PLSP) from Neurodegenerative Disease Management examined over 10,700 people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and an equal number without MS, aged 50 and older. It revealed that infections were more prevalent among MS patients, likely due to immunosuppressive treatments rather than the disease itself, while cancer rates showed no significant difference.
