Plain language summary of article discussing race and ethnicity of participants in early-phase cancer studies

Recently published in Future Oncology, the article ‘Race and ethnicity representation in clinical trials: findings from a literature review of Phase I oncology trials‘ features a supplementary PLS providing a lay language summary of the research presented.

As well as publishing PLS as standalone, citable articles, all our journals publish PLS as supplementary materials. Published alongside our articles, all supplementary PLS are:

  • Free to access – even if the article is not published open access
  • Featured prominently on the article homepage
  • Cited and linked in the PDF
  • Indexed and discoverable on Figshare

If you are considering publishing in a Future Science Group journal and want to learn more about featuring a supplementary PLS, please feel free to contact Joanne Walker or Laura Dormer at [email protected].
