Plain language summaries in psychology: Project PLan Psy by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology

Project PLan Psy is a research project being carried out by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology under the direction of Dr Anita Chasiotis. The aim of the 2-year project is to understand and develop evidence-based guidelines for writing plain language summaries (PLS) of meta-analyses in psychology. Whilst focusing on psychology, it is hoped the findings of the project will have a wider impact on how PLS and lay information of scientific and medical research is communicated to the public.
